A zine co-created with refugee artists exploring structural exclusion in the cultural sector.
Breaking the Code is a collaborative publication that emerged from workshops with refugee and migrant artists. Through personal testimonies, poetry, and visual art, contributors examine the barriers they face in accessing funding, venues, and recognition within the UK cultural sector. The zine proposes practical steps for organisations to become more inclusive and challenges readers to question their assumptions about who gets to make and share art.
